I'm from Columbus and now in Minneapolis. My wife and I planned our wedding back in Columbus so family wouldn't have to travel. All of our older family members had memories of this place through the generations! Our wedding was on the Friday before Halloween and was also a part of their Halloween celebration, which just added even more fun and atmosphere. Rick and the band played the hits and everything went exactly as planned, exactly as advertised. This place is a piece of history and I can say that they delivered for us.
Super venue. Historic space. Fabulous acoustics. Great wood floor and spacious balconies. This is the kind of place you might visit if you were visiting another city as a tourist. But, for us in Columbus, it's here!
My daughter and son-in-law married there in 2012. The place was amazing!
But my personal opinion is that they ruined the atmosphere by adding the colored lights and other modern touches. They should have made the improvements by embracing the vintage feel rather than modernizing
Absolutely awesome venue for parties, weddings, convention, fundraiser etc. We were at a 1920's themed fundraiser and the Valley Dale Ballroom delivered everything necessary and then some. You need to see it to believe it. The history here is incredible and almost unbelievable, the atmosphere and ambiance are an experience words can't describe, and the design and layout are perfect for just about anything. Make sure catching an event at the Valley Dale Ballroom is on your bucket list - you won't regret it.
Very nice venue and the interior looks very interesting. Available free parking, however, it need some more outside lights. The decoration style is more in the 20's, the place is well kept but I would need some maintenance work soon. The only drawback is that there is not easy accessibility remps for handicapped, so I would advise to check with the organizer prior to getting there.
This beautiful old place needs an overhaul: the floors of the staircases and upper structure are soft, suggesting wood rot under the carpeting.
The ballroom floor itself resembles James Woods' cratered face, with many tiles broken and missing.
This is a HUGE safety issue and needs to be addressed immediately!
Please shut her down long enough to give her the loving restoration she so desperately needs and deserves to have as a functional historical landmark.

Okay dude straight up I came here for a GCW pro wrestling show and it was super awesome! The view was great I was able to watch the matches from the ring and the whole show was radical! The parking to the venue was nice too because it wasn't and extra charge and there was plenty of room. I'd come back again for sure.
